Memories

I cant imagine life without memories.
Its something to look back at
Something to bring us back
To happiness, sadness, anger, joy.

The thing is,
The bad ones are always so vivid.
So clear –
They envelope you in its evil and slowly destroy you

They good ones so vague
A distant past –
They are the ones we aim to remember; to keep
But they are the ones that become blurry.

Memories are beautiful
Life without it –
Can that even be?
It's hard to imagine.

Memories are like love.
Life isn't worth living without it.
Keep the memories: good and bad.
Each has a story to tell …
